Vision Therapist Team Lead | Patient Education Specialist

Katie joined The Mind’s Eye team in 2020 and has spent the past five years growing her career in vision therapy and patient care. She became board certified as a Vision Therapist through the Optometric Developmental Vision Association in April 2024 and now serves as Team Lead at The Mind’s Eye Center and Patient Education Specialist at Specialty Eye.

Katie has a particular interest in working with children with autism, cerebral palsy, and medically complex conditions.Katie started her career as an occupational therapy assistant, bringing experience working with patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries and heart surgery, as well as children with developmental disabilities.

Katie is passionate about building meaningful connections with her patients and families and believes in a holistic, patient-centered approach to care. She enjoys helping patients recognize their potential and supporting them through the changes that vision therapy can bring to their everyday lives.

​​​​​​​Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time outdoors year-round, from skiing in the winter to swimming in the summer, and loves spoiling her dog, Monty.
